EMOD DMOD MG Midget with 13B Mazda SCCA SOLO
Up for Auction is a 1970 MG Midget. This car has been prepared for competition in SCCA Solo events (Autocrossing). It is legal for both EM and DM in its current setup. This car has been the dominate car in the Northeast division, with multiple first place wins in EM and EML at Divisional and National Tour events.
The car is powered by a Mazda 13B Street ported rotary engine connected with a Kennedy Engineering Adapter plate to a Ford World Class T5 5 Speed transmission. The rear axle is a shortened Mazda RX7 with stock limited slip diff. Final drive ratio is 4.75. The last time I weighed the car without driver it was 1528 lbs, easily making Emod minimum weight with driver.
The Engine management is done with a Haltech E6X. Fuel is supplied by 4 55lb Seimen injector through a Autronics 4 port throttle body on top of a Racing Beat Holley manifold.
